Mike Bush was appointed Housemaster of Turner House in 2025. Mike grew up in Marlborough, is an Old Marlburian and spent five years in Turner as a pupil himself in the 1990s.
Mike studied at both Manchester and Oxford, before teaching at Alleyn’s School in London. He returned to the College in 2011, where he specialises in modern British History, Irish History and the Russian Revolution.
During his time at Marlborough, Mike has served as Master i/c of cricket for 10 years and rackets for 8 years, leading successful eras in both programmes. He has tutored in Summerfield and coached rugby and hockey.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys cycling, hiking, listening to Coldplay and supporting Aston Villa FC. He is joined in Turner by his wife, Lesley, and their two daughters.
