Mrs Tania Freeman

Educated at the French Lycee, Tania went on to read Law and was called to the bar in 1983. She practised at Three Raymond Buildings, predominantly in crime.

Following the birth of her fifth child, Tania left the bar and went into property and design, working on residential and commercial projects. In 2016, she was chair of the design committee for the refurbishment of the Memorial Hall. Tania also coordinated the creation of Marlborough College’s campus master plan.

Tania is half-French and has lived in both England and France. With experience of state schools and the private sector, she has a keen interest in the well-being and educational attainment of children. Two of her children attended Marlborough College. 

Tania joined the Council in May 2021.
