Nick was educated at Radley College before studying at the University of Nottingham and completing a PGCE at King’s College London. He began his teaching career at Oakham School, where he taught Classics and established the Classical Civilisation programme, which has since thrived.
Over the past 20 years, he has held a range of pastoral roles, including Resident House Tutor, Assistant Housemaster and Housemaster, before spending the last five years as a senior leader with responsibility for pupils in Shell to Hundred.
Nick teaches Classics with a particular interest in the epic literature of Homer and Virgil, and is am committed to supporting pupils both academically and pastorally within a busy boarding environment.
He is married to Charlotte and has two children, along with a very friendly Labrador, Terry. Outside school, Nick enjoys running, cycling and rugby league, and spending time outdoors with his family.
