Peter joined the Council in June 2021. He is also a board member of Places for People, member of the Real Estate Investment Committee at the European investment firm Eurazeo and a Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute. In January 2025, Peter stepped down from executive work and his position as Chief Executive of Homes England, the UK’s Housing & Regeneration agency. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Executive of The Hyde Group, a London and South East housing association. Before entering the housing and regeneration sector, Peter was a partner at Starwood Capital, a global real estate investment manager. His early career in investment banking included senior EMEA real estate investment banking roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Eurohypo, and WestImmo. In 2025 Peter was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to Housing and Major Urban Regeneration. He is also a qualified accountant.
Peter has twins who joined Marlborough in September 2021.
