Head of Italian

Peter Morley-Fletcher

Peter graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, in 2004 with a First in Modern and Medieval Languages. After his time at university, which included a year living and working in Rome, Peter spent two years working for a church in south-west London, and also led a gap year team to the Gambia, West Africa, supporting local schools. He has been teaching Italian and French at Marlborough since 2007.

Studying languages allowed Peter to combine his passions for literature, film and travel, interests which continue to be reflected in his teaching and participation in Marlborough’s impressive array of exchange programmes. At Marlborough, he coaches rugby, squash and tennis, runs the Christian Forum and is a tutor in Littlefield.

Peter is married to Emily, who is a tutor in Elmhurst. Their three children love to join them in experiencing Italian cities, culture and ice cream.
