Head of Psychology

Rebecca Jerstice

Rebecca graduated from Cambridge University, reading Social and Political Sciences (with a special focus on Psychology). She went on to teach Psychology at Bradfield before moving to Reading Blue Coat for two years. Rebecca set up Marlborough’s Psychology Department upon joining the College in 2015.

Rebecca coaches Remove netball, hockey and tennis and is in charge of debating. She runs Model UN, Psychology Club and the Psychology Society. She is part of the Scholarship and Oxbridge group through her Head of Shell Scholars role.

She is very interested in gender studies and, alongside running the College’s Feminist Society, is currently writing a podcast series. She is actively involved within experimental psychology and regularly takes part in studies. Rebecca is married to Michael and they welcomed a son in 2018.
