Richard Willmett was appointed Housemaster in the summer of 2025. He teaches Politics and also coaches both cricket and rugby.
Richard joined Marlborough in 2014 and gained significant pastoral experience during five years as the Resident House Tutor of Barton Hill. He currently serves as Head of the Lower Sixth. His academic interests include the Plantagenets, the development of the British state, and the Liberal Party of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. He is also a keen follower of cricket.
Richard is married to Cora, and they have three children.
