Tim grew up in Surrey and attended Kingston Grammar School, where he played Hockey, Cricket and Real Tennis. After studying History at Christ Church, Oxford, Tim moved into secondary school teaching, working in schools in Worcestershire and Birmingham, until becoming a Deputy Head at The De Montfort School. Tim also has a Masters in Computer Science from Birmingham City University and is now completing a further Masters in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Tim is married to Catherine, an Art Teacher, and they have two school-age children, and 5 cats. Tim’s hobbies are running, having completed over 80 marathons and ultras, reading, DJing, and crosswords.
