Virginie grew up and was educated in France and completed a degree in English as a Foreign Language at the University of Avignon.
She spent two years at Charterhouse as a French Assistant and then completed her PGCE at the Institute of Education in London.
She joined Marlborough College in 2013 as a French and Italian teacher, and after two years as a tutor in New Court, she was appointed RHT of Elmhurst for four years. She has since remained a tutor in Elmhurst, and she will be taking over the role of Housemistress from September 2024.
She has coached hockey, netball and athletics and in her spare time she enjoys running, swimming and going for walks in the countryside with her two Jack Russells, Brutus and Milou. During the holidays, she spends time in North Devon with her husband and their two children.
