Geography - Riccardo De RosaHead of Department
Riccardo De Rosa is a graduate of Durham University where he undertook a degree in Geography, with a specific focus on Glaciology, Oceanography and Climate Change, specialisms which are common place in the media today and which are still of interest to him.
He started his teaching career at Repton School, Derbyshire where he became Head of Department after two years at the school. As well as departmental responsibilities, Riccardo was the Master in charge of Athletics, assisted with the running of Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh, coached the second eleven and girls’ football and was a resident tutor.
Riccardo hopes to continue his involvement with football here at Marlborough, exploit the many opportunities for overseas fieldwork, and, weather permitting, explore the Cotswolds on his 749.
