Visit Marlborough College
We understand that seeing our school is an important part of knowing whether Marlborough College is the right school for you and your child. Parents and prospective pupils are welcome to visit the school up to five years prior to entry. We offer both Open Days and House Visit Days as a good way to get a sense of the community and culture that Marlborough College offers.
Open Days
Our larger Open Day events take place during the Summer Term for prospective pupils in Year 4 and 5, and in the Michaelmas Term for those closer to the application deadlines who are in Year 6 and 7.
The Open Day includes a welcome and introduction by the Master and Director of Admissions, followed by a pupil-led campus tour, a boarding or day house visit, and the opportunity to meet the Master, Director of Admissions, the Senior Management Team and Heads of Department during a buffet lunch.

House Visit Afternoons
For those with children currently in Year 5, families are welcome to attend a House Visit Afternoon during the Michaelmas Term or Summer Term of Year 5. This event offers a pupil-led tour of the campus followed by a boarding or day house visit. These events take place on weekdays.

Individual Visits
An individual visit can be arranged for families living abroad, or who are unable to attend our other visit events. An individual visit will include an informal meeting with the Director of Admissions and an adult-led tour of the College campus. These visits can be arranged on a weekday during the school term. Please contact the Admissions Team directly to arrange.

Open Day
This event offers an inspiring introduction to Sixth Form life at the College and a valuable opportunity to explore the academic and personal pathways that shape your future. During your visit, you’ll tour the campus with current Sixth Form pupils, explore a boarding or day house, and gain a first-hand feel for the independence, support, and community the College provides. You’ll hear directly from the Master and pupils and learn more about our A-level programme. You will have dedicated time to speak with our Academic, Admissions and Pastoral and teams during a buffet lunch.

Afternoon Visits
For small groups of families interesting in finding out about Sixth Form at Marlborough for 2028 entry, we host several midweek visit events on a Wednesday afternoon between 3.15 – 6pm. The next visit opportunities are:

The afternoon begins with a welcome from the Master and an introduction to Sixth Form by the Director of Admissions. Families are then given a pupil-guided tour of the campus, followed by a visit to a boarding or day house.

Individual Visits
Available to arrange on weekday mornings throughout all terms, on a date to suit. An individual visit is useful for families are unable to join us for our Sixth Form Afternoon Visits. The visit would include an informal meeting with an Admissions Tutor and a full campus tour with a viewing of a boarding house. Please contact the Admissions Team directly to arrange.
